Helenium Waldhorn (Karl Foerster 1967)
Waldhorn has flowers of deep red that have slightly raised petals needing full sun to obtain the deepest, richest red shades. It grows to about 3ft tall. Waldhorn is a mountain peak in the Schladming Tauern in Austria - see also Helenium Goldkogel which is also a peak in Austria .
