Vivace

Helenium Vivace

Helenium Vivace © 2010 SpecialPerennials.com all rights reserved

Vivace is an excellent variety with vermilion red flowers with slightest hint of tangerine under the petal tips.  The near black cones are very striking compared to the more normal chocolate brown cones in red flowered Heleniums. The plants are compact at about 2ft / 60cm high. It flowers from the third week of July. "Vivace" is an Italian musical term indicating a "lively mood".
