This is one of the shortest varieties in our collection, only reaching 1ft 6in / 45cm and one of the earliest to flower, starting in third week of June (mid May if started in pots in the greenhouse in February). It responds well to deadheading and can be vigorous and quick to bulk up. In poor soils it is sulky and shy of flower but it does better in dry soils than most.
