Helenium Sonnenwunder (Karl Foerster)

This variety has distinctive wedge-shaped petal that are clear yellow. The cone is greenish yellow and the foliage is pale green. It flowers from early August and grows up to 3ft 9" / 110cm tall. New buds develop only just below the current flowers so be careful to only snip off deadheads just below the flower.

The name translates unsurprisingly as "Sunny Wonder" or “Sun Miracle”.
