This is a fairly tall (4ft approx) variety with very
large red and orange blended flowers from early
August.
There are several plants of this name in circulation in
the
UK
but we believe this to be the true plant as it matches descriptions in the
1961 RHS trial and several German reference books.

in around 1919. This Helenium variety is probably more recent than
that.
