Helenium Baudirektor Linne (Gustav Deutschmann / Hahn.)
This is a fairly tall (4ft approx) variety with very large red and orange blended flowers from early August.

There are several plants of this name in circulation in the UK but we believe this to be the true plant as it matches descriptions in the 1961 RHS trial and several German reference books.

“Baudirektor” (“landscape architect”) Otto Linne reconstructed Hammer Park in   Hamburg in around 1919. This Helenium variety is probably more recent than that.
