Calamintha:

Plants with aromatic leaves and masses of tubular flowers loved by bees. They will grow in dry to moist (not wet) soils in sun or light shade.

A member of the Lamiaceae family

Calamintha nepeta Blue Cloud

Peppermint scented leaves and masses of pale blue flowers on short bushy plants. For warm dry spots and prefers an alkaline soil: it does well in our slightly acid soil but would need regular dressings of lime in a very acid soil.

Great for bees.

Native to Europe, NW Africa, N Turkey, Caucasus, Ukraine.
