Skull Cap after the shape of the seed heads
Plants of woodland and woodland edge
with lipped (Salvia-like) flowers on tall stems. We grow them in dappled
shade and moist soil.
Propagate by seed or division of rooted
shoots. All Scutellaria are
harmful if eaten. The National
Collection is held in Cheshire and is open by appointment. Best viewing
from end June - August. |
