Lysimachia:
Common name: Loosestrife.
Propagate by
division at anytime in spring or autumn.
|
Lysimachia
ciliata "Firecracker":
Bronze red leaves and starry yellow flowers throughout the
summer. About 2ft - 2ft 6in tall. Fills a large space in moist soils
(invasive but useful in the right setting!), better behaved in dry soils
but still needs curtailing each spring.
|
Lysimachia
ephemerum:
Waxy blue-green leaves and tall spires of white flowers in
late summer getting to about 3ft tall. Does well in dry semi-sun.
Photo: An interesting partnership with Achillea
Christine's Pink, both thriving in the dry soil.
