Hydrangea
arborescens Annabelle
Gorgeous, giant pompoms of
flower throughout the summer. The creamy white flowers open from lime
green buds. The deadheads are good for drying for winter
decoration. The plants can be hard pruned in early spring to produce
bigger heads on shorter plants. However these will need some support. If
left to grow taller the stems are strong enough to support the masses of
bloom.
