One of the few truly double Daylilies. with dramatic hose-in-hose flowers in strong orange double with a conspicuous red eyezone. It starts flowering from early July and gets to about 3ft tall in flower. Vigorous and soon to form a sizable clump. Sterile so unfortunately no seed is produced to breed new doubles from.

Originating in Sichuan, China. Introduced in the UK in 1860.
