Where
it all started for us - the first Hemerocallis we ever bought and still
going strong for us in the garden. It is vigorous and forgiving of
less than perfect conditions, growing and flowering well against a laurel
hedge in in semi-shaded border on top of the remains of the builders sand
pit in our front garden.
In starts flowering in early July the
flower stems are about 3ft 6in - 4ft tall. Last year we counted 50
flower spikes each with 20 or more buds on one clump.
Flowers can have a pink tinge in hot
sunny weather.
Winter dormant.
