Hemerocallis Nobel Warrior (Hanson 1988)

The registered description as a "Red self with Yellow throat" belies the sumptuous velvet texture of the flowers with deep, near-black red in the ruffled edges. The flowers are large and imposing in the garden.

Flowers early- to mid-season (early July for us) and reblooming. About 70cm tall. Flower size about 14cm. Semi-evergreen. Tetraploid
