For some reason hybridisers don't seem to be producing
trumpet-shaped blooms like this anymore.
Hyperion is living proof that sometimes
the oldies are goodies deserving to keep their place in the garden. The
pale lemon trumpet shaped flowers held high
above the foliage at a height of about 3ft. They are very fragrant and start in
late June and go on for a long time
Looks great with lots of different
colours - reds, oranges, pinks, blues. Our favourite composition is with
the golden flowers of Helenium
El Dorado
