Another
British Daylily raised in Cornwall by Lady Carew-Pole who holds a National
Collection at Anthony House. Striking
cherry-red with a large amber throat. A
typical British Border Daylily - bred for planting in the herbaceous or
mixed border. The flowers are numerous and held on long stems well above
the leaves. It is about 23ft 9in in flower). Being
cherry red it should be placed with crimsons, pinks, lemons or purples.
Bold gardeners will put it with scarlet and enjoy the clash of colours. |
