One of our favourite American daylilies. it comes into flower from mid June and is neatin the border with flowers held just above the leaves at about 2ft tall. 

For us the main attractions are the delicate, easy-to-place colours with a particularly fetching god edge to the petals but also its very pleasant fragrance.

Blends well with pinks, reds, blues and yellows. In the background of this picture is Salvia transsylvanica.
