Good
clear lemon yellow. The cones are tan coloured, maturing chestnut. 2ft 9in / 80cm tall. Flowers from early - mid July.
Sometimes gains a green "fringe" in the central cone, particularly in
cool, wet weather due to the calyces not unfurling fully.

RHS AGM 2001. The trial results give the
height as 3ft 6inm, but it has never got so tall for us - more like 2ft - 2ft
3in.
