Helenium Samtjuwel Excellent red with yellow edges. Can reach 3ft 3in / 100cm, but only 2ft 6in / 75cm in our sandy soil. Flowers from third week of July. Not currently listed in the RHS Plant Finder (2007/8). The name translates as "Velvet Jewel" Mail order 9cm: £4.50 (order now to reserve for spring delivery)
