Helenium 'Ruby Tuesday'

Red with widely spaced and often quilled petals. Flowers from mid August. Height about 2ft - 2ft 6" / 60-75cm in garden soil.

The flowers are the darkest black red on opening and develop into a deep ruby tone.

Bred to perform well in containers where it is usually shorter and more quilled, probably from lack of water!

First entered in the RHS Plant Finder in 2006/7.

European Plant Varietal Rights have been terminated and no longer apply.

The name is from a Rolling Stones song but now  properly called "Ruby Thuesday" in UK/Europe.

Mail order 9cm: £4.00 (order now to reserve for spring delivery)
