 Helenium Ruby Tuesday © 2010 SpecialPerennials.com all rights reserved Red with widely spaced and often quilled petals. Flowers from mid August. Height about 2ft - 2ft 6" / 60-75cm in garden soil. The flowers are the darkest black red on opening and develop into a deep ruby tone. Bred to perform well in containers where it is usually shorter and more quilled, probably from lack of water! The name is from a Rolling Stones song but this plant is now properly called "Ruby Thuesday" in UK/Europe.
