Helenium Rauchtopas (Pegelow)

Rauchtopas has upswept petals that really show up the contrast between the apricot uppers and vermilion undersides. Its about 4ft / 120cm tall and flowers from early August.

The name Rauchtopas means “Smoky Topaz”, a name for a particular form of the gemstone.
