Helenium Mardi Gras (Bob Brown 2003)
This new variety patented in the US by Bob Brown, has obvious similarities to Sahin’s Early Flowerer and Luc. In its first year in our garden it is shorter – only 2ft 6in tall so it is self supporting. The flowers are smaller, have more gappy petals and the colour is more orange.
