Helenium 'Mahagoni':

Well-named as the mature flowers have the colour and markings of the eponymous wood. Plants reach 3ft / 90cm in our garden. Starts flowering in late July.  One of several plants named "Mahagoni" or "Mahogany" (see also H."Goldlackzwerg").  Bred by Karl Foerster.
