Helenium Kokarde

Stiffly upright variety that doesn't need staking. Flowers from late July. About 105cm tall. First entered in the RHS Plant Finder in 2003/4. "Kokardes" were painted circular badges worn on the side of German military helmets from the mid 1800's. In German, "Kokardenblume" is the Gaillardia.  Mail order 9cm: £4.00 (order now to reserve for spring delivery)
