Can get to about
100cm / 3ft3in tall, but a lot shorter in our garden. Flowers from third week of August.
The name seems to suggest "Gold
Frosted" (Literal: gold hoar frost) - a good description of the flower.
First entered in the RHS Plant Finder in 2005/6.
Our plants, although obtained from Martin
Hughes-Jones National Collection do not match his photos which show a
distinctive gold rim rather than the flecking on our plants. This may be due to
the cooler conditions in Cheshire.
Not currently for sale.
