Helenium Butterpat AGM)

Good yellow that we've had for many years which was introduced by Blooms in the 1960's. Pale green foliage and yellow cones. Bushy and well branched plants. Reaching around 3ft / 90cm.  Flowers from early August.  Really benefits from good soil; sulking in dry, hungry soils. We moved this from near our boundary hedge to a more open sunny site and the change has been dramatic. This is a variety that really needs dividing and refreshing each year.
