Geum
rivale Leonard's Variety (Leonard
1923)
This is a
good
old variety with copper-pink nodding flowers in late spring / early summer
and again in late summer. It occasionally throws up double flowers but
then reverts to single next year. This has led to the naming of the
variety "Leonard's Double" as a sport; alas it is not stable and
soon reverts to the standard Leonard's variety.
