Centaurea pulcherrima
Low
mounds of divided silver-grey leaves and pale pink cornflowers in late
spring and again in late summer. Requires sun and good drainage.
Propagates
by careful division. We have never been able to find seed that will
germinate.
Also
called Aethropappus pulcherrimus. Native to Caucasus and Asia Minor
including Iran, hence the common name of Persian Cornflower.
